The visionaries at Bethesda, Arkane and Laced are bringing the twisted ’60s soundtrack for award-winning looper-shooter DEATHLOOP to wax.
This double LP set features a 19-track selection specially mastered for vinyl and pressed on heavyweight LPs in solid blue and orange, with printed inner sleeves and a wide-spined outer sleeve. Tracklist curation and stunning original sleeve artwork is by the team at Arkane Lyon.
Lead composer Tom Salta has built an enviable credits list, with entries in the Prince of Persia, Tom Clancy and Halo universes to his name. For DEATHLOOP’s original score, he immersed himself in the music of Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Nelson Riddle and a host of other late-’60s influences. Layers of period-appropriate organs, synths and other instruments (including Rhodes, Wurlitzer and Hammond B3) help maintain the tension as Colt picks off Eternalists from the shadows. As things get dicey, or Julianna intervenes with extreme prejudice, tracks explode into furious guitar and drum grooves that propel the zany, supernaturally enhanced gunplay.
Ross Tregenza’s multi-genre diegetic cues perfectly complement the psycho-sophisticate stylings of Blackreef’s artistically aspirational inhabitants, while songwriter Erich Talaba and singer Jeff Cummings brought to life the vicious visionary Frank Spicer with catchy in-universe songs. Music agency Sencit teamed up with powerful yet soulful vocalists for trailer and credits songs, including Bond-ish banger “Déjà Vu” (featuring FJØRA), “Pitch Black” (featuring Lady Blackbird) and “Down the Rabbit Hole” (featuring Samantha Howard & Haqq.)

FAQs
Do you ship to my location?
The store you are currently on (www.lacedrecords.co) ships worldwide excluding Brazil.
If you are based in the USA or Canada, please visit www.lacedrecords.com – orders from this store ship from within the US.
When do I pay for pre-orders? At the time of ordering? Or when it ships?
All pre-orders are charged at the time of ordering to avoid credit card or bank account surprises in future.
How can I find out what the shipping costs will be for my order?
All shipping costs are calculated and clearly displayed as you go through the checkout process. You can also use our shipping calculator on the shopping cart page to estimate shipping costs to your address.
Post-Brexit, if I’m ordering to the EU, will I have to pay VAT twice?
All orders ship from the UK. We are part of the IOSS VAT scheme, meaning that for all new orders shipping to the EU under the value of €150 (exc. shipping & tax), VAT is included in the store checkout price.
Depending on the country customers are ordering from, packages may be subject to customs and import duties. Laced Records has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Contact your local customs office for further information.I’m based outside of the UK. Will I have to pay any customs or import duties?
For ALL orders shipping outside of the UK: depending on the country customers are ordering from, packages may be subject to customs and import duties. Laced Records has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Contact your local customs office for further information.
I see Laced Records has two websites, which should I use?
Laced operates two web stores, which correspond to our two warehouses:
- lacedrecords.com (with an ‘m’) for US and Canada-based customers (US warehouse)
- lacedrecords.co (without an ‘m’) for all other territories (UK warehouse; you are currently on this store.)
The websites should automatically redirect site visitors from one to the other if they visit the wrong site. This is important, because if you try to order from the incorrect site, you may be charged significantly higher shipping fees, as well as customs duties.
Orders shipping to Canada from lacedrecords.com store may still face customs duties, as these ship from the US. These extra fees are beyond Laced Records’ control, and may require further research by the customer.
If you use a VPN, this may confuse the geo redirect, so please ensure you are using the correct website if you plan on purchasing something.
How long are your pre-order windows?
Unless we explicitly state otherwise, we don’t run set pre-order windows that finish on a particular date.
Customers usually have a few days to a few weeks from announcement to be assured of securing a pre-order. After that, pre-order products might sell out, especially Limited Edition variants.
When a product is sold out, sometimes a small amount of overstock becomes available once it has shipped and replacements are accounted for.
What does ‘Limited Edition’ actually mean?
A Limited Edition ‘variant’ refers to a unique disc colour combination (or ‘colourway’) that will only see one pressing, and is exclusively sold through the Laced Records stores (lacedrecords.com for US and Canada; lacedrecords.co for outside the US.)
Once that pressing is sold out, that variant or colourway will not be repressed (hence ‘limited’.) However, that vinyl set might see a Standard Edition (black disc) repress, or additional exclusive/limited editions in future.
Our philosophy is that, where possible, the first pressing should be the most special in terms of disc design.
